It Was Sure Nice to Meet

Warm sheets, man it was sure nice to meet
Sliding my clothes on
Smiling, maybe this won't be the last time
Our bodies go to retreat
Sunbathing in the warmth of your morning smile
Wow it's been awhile
I take a comb to my hair
Letting my eyes stare
Damn.. Should I dare?
I let my down my hair, who cares?
Slid my undressed body under your grey duvet cover
smelling of moonlight, whisky and Yankee candles
I just couldn't handle it
Let my head rest, body ease
As my mouth slips out.. Please.
Hands intwined feeling myself unwind
Face prickly on my neck
My breathing begins to race but I keep a steady pace
Remembering you're a one time case
We begin to ease and I remember how to please
Just like that we were the bees knees
We slip into a somber sleep
Neither one makes a peep
Man, it was sure nice to meet
