It would end

the smile stays,
the smile fades,
we all slip away.

the love that was deep.
the hate was cheap,
we all knew it wasnt real.

we knew it would all end
for you it was to near,
for me i ended it myself.

for him his life did not matter,
for the one he loved was gone in whispers of whispering winds.
his lover was gone.

is dead really dead?
his love was outside
non existent as a smile that used to spread my face.

i would not talk
he would not understand
we all knew i would end

the darkness crept
the people slept
i held the knife
the knife that killed the cat
curiosity always kills the cat
but sometimes it just isnt a cat
