It’s Not You, It’s Both of Us

Were you too afraid to admit it?
But I wore a blindfold and hoped for the best–

And you carried on with glee
Taking me by the hand
Knowingly leading me into an abyss–
An eternal reality that is the uncertainty
But I took you by the hand anyway
You always knew
And so did I
