It’s Nothing New

The baby cries when he hears a the thunder
Mama says it's nothing scary
Humming his favorite melodies,
She lulls him to sleep.
Again the thunder hits planet earth
Bursting out in tears, he looks for Mama
She says: “Hush, baby. It's nothing new,
And you will see the rainbow again.”
“The sun will smile on us,” she says
Surprisingly, honey, you will miss the rain.”
