Jack Frost Winter

It started on a winter day
With all life hid and gone
The winter sun has hid its face
Jack Frost has sailed the dawn

The buds of spring have frozen leaves
Lakes have lost their shine
The earth is swallowed in fairydust
That seems to freeze up time

The geese have found their home at last
Hidden from this world
They sail the winds to reach the south
Where warm winds curl the vine
and melt the heart of time

What can I do while stuck inside?
Will my heart turn to stone?
I will choose to melt the ice
By getting past my comfort zone

Can love truly blossom and
Spring truly come when we lock our
Souls inward and never get some fun
Despite lack of the sun

Our bodies bring the warmth
That will someday part the seas
No more Titanic iceberg
Will find their ways to me
