Jeb’s Death

Jeb lay in bed,
sick and half dead.
Pain and sorrow in his face,
hoping this would go by at a faster pace.

Jeb almost died every day,
but people still follow his ways.
From the smoking to the drugs,
dealt by some stupid mugs.

Jeb almost died every day,
when will the sorrow go away?
Friends and families watch with pain in their eyes,
but they follow in his ways and they soon die.

This is a dreadful way of life,
many think of it like a knife.
People may think that way,
but they pass it to their families day by day.

Jeb wasn't wealthy,
Jeb wasn't healthy.
He wasn't smart,
he died by March.

When Jeb died he was 14 years old,
his life was bitter and cold.
He watched what his friends and family did and how they passed away,
which wasn't smart because when he died, boy oh boy, was that a dreadful day.
