Joan of Arc

Fire, fire burning bright doth set the maids heart alight. Born of war blood and pain she was the key to their gain. In the days of fear loss and plight she did step forward a guiding light. Tender as the rose and yet strong as the sword her path Our Fathers hand guiding her forward. Into the the fray with all her might she did inspire all to fight. Through selfless deeds did she set the land free and did make way for Royal decree. Yet betrayal did claim her fate set in dungeons hearth and grate alone did she wait a lions heart she did hold inside clear to all who judge and lie. By false words was her fate sealed. By unholy decree was death called for all to see In the fire she was sent through the flames did she forgive and and met her end as her soul did ascend. Fire fire burning bright it did not claim her light through true hearts and kind eyes she did ascend on hight and now that through time for all to see she does stand saintly. Dedicated to Joan of Arc.
