I shall compare thee to a summer's day
Counted sweetest by those who sorest need
Warm memories so swiftly flown away
That which the sea breaks against, and recedes
This hurricane in my brain aches for release
I'm capricious as the ocean is free
Yet California blue eyes bring me peace
The sunrise on the surface of the sea
Downpour of torrential winter showers
transposed these el dorado hills to verde
Winter's sun glittering in late noon hours
I ask: Shall we begin again this May?
The thought of her temperate soul is holy
Nothing stays with me for long""except you, Joely
