Journey to a Cancer Free World

During the harsh Chemo,
Below the silky skin,
Inside the weak veins,
Beyond the doctors reach,
Regarding a human's life,
The darkening disease struck.

After a horrid surgery,
In a deserted room,
Against the blank wall,
Under the sterile blankets,
Atop the uneasy bed,
The old man laid.

Over the following years,
At a prestigious college,
Among the elite residents,
On a mysterious desk,
With the exceptional discovery,
A cure was found.
