Journeys

Rumbling and tumbling, whooshing through time
Spinning and speeding, life is devoid of decline

Carefree and eager the adventures go on
Then in an instance the decades are gone

Still determined and positive to live to the last
The pleasures and treasures a thing of the past

Now it's cloudy and dim, inability abounds
The rising murmur of trumpets and music resounds

Then silent and peaceful my soul does depart
To an uncharted, mysterious destination I start

Rumbling and tumbling, whooshing through time
Spinning and speeding, life is devoid of decline
