Joy Has Come to Earth

She came through arms of pensive night
flying on wings of pure delight
to find the truth that lingers late
she came- to meet her date with fate.

She came to find a lovers love
hidden in the stars above
that only comes every hundred years
like a comet stretched across moving tears.

She came to move, not be removed
from all that is or wants to be.
Her story blossoms through windy strife,
she's a treasured gem- a needed life.

She came to see the light unknown
that shines for her- for her alone.
With every breath a cherished chord-
she quells all noise and heals the world.

She came to give, and be forgiven
so near to God, so close to Heaven
springs her lonely touch- felt everywhere.
Joy has come to Earth- and met her there.
