Judge

Question? When you look at me, what do you see?
Do you make your own perception of what you want me to be.
Would you even say I am different because of the way I look or talk,
Maybe my style or even the way I walk.
Could it be where I am from? Or even where I live
Or is it my family? Might be my friends.
If you take a walk in my shoes, or lived one day of my life
Would you still be quick to judge me, or would you think twice?
I have been through heartache and pain, lived through sunshine and rain.
I have kept my sanity even when I thought I was going insane.
I have been stressed out mentally and physically broken down,
Lost loved ones and close friends every time I turned around.
I thought I was emotionally and intellectually unstable
But I never gave up it was God who kept me able.
So please don't judge me from all the rumors you have heard,
Some of the things that were said was so untrue.
Everyone is different including me from you.
Never judge a book by its cover, at least that's what I thought.
Do not judge me from my appearance try to get to know me
Starting with my heart.
