Judge Them

Don't judge a book by its cover they say
try to look at everyone in the same way

Look past the color, the creed or the job
make your own choice don't follow the mob

Tell that to the child whose eyes cannot see
tell it to the boy who didn't grow to what he wanted to be

Tell it to the man whose legs are bent and broke
tell it to girls who're at the end of the joke

You never know what goes on behind a closed door
you don't know when a person can't take anymore

So be a little careful before you talk
think how you would feel if you were to walk their walk

Think about your cover what does it hide
look past the covers and see what's inside
