June

Love is in the fragrant air
Stealing kisses from the gods
Sharing them with their fiery nods
In the wedding party fair

A modern stylized affair
Featuring festive floral wads
In a milieu of deprecating nods
To the backdrop, the luxe, the gifts, the divine pair

On the threshold of a love laid bare
Promises lay undisturbed like seed pods
Threshed in bunches like goldenrods
With whispered provenance to spare

The pinnacle of dedication
June blesses love in supplication
