Just Because

Just because I'm intelligent,
Doesn't mean I’m an encyclopedia,
Doesn't mean I’m a computer,
with a micro-chip for a heart,
Just because I’m intelligent,
Doesn't mean I speak in binary code,
Doesn't mean I know every word in the dictionary,
Doesn't mean I need to reboot,
Just because I’m intelligent,
Doesn't mean that I have electricity flowing through my veins,
Doesn't mean that an error message appears when I make a mistake,
Doesn’t mean that I can edit my settings for each user,
Just because I’m intelligent,
Doesn’t mean I’m not human,
that I don’t fall down,
That I can’t bruise and bleed,
and shatter into a million pieces on the ground,
Just because I am intelligent.
