Just Friends

A touch, a kiss,
Could it get more innocent than this,
Two friends, one day,
Inside bright, outside gray.

Wondering, hoping, touching,
Giggling, cuddling, blushing,
It starts lightly on the cheeks,
But I know that it's my lips she seeks.

Rolling around on the floor,
And we can sense we both want more,
Finally it happens, out of the blue,
A first kiss, too good to be true.

Walking in the woods, hand in hand,
Laughing, kissing, where we stand,
Hope blossoms inside my chest,
And being here, with her, I feel so blessed.

If only she felt the same,
If only there wasn't the shame,
But she won't accept who she is,
And all I can think about is that kiss.
