Just in Case

Just in case I say yes,
Please treat me like a friend,
Love me to the end,
Make me feel like I have value,
Stare at me like the sky: blue
Wipe away tear from my eyes,
Hold my hand when in fear,
Guard my heart with so much care,
Make me love you till it hurts,
Mark my white womb with your dots,
Love me the best way you can,
Let me thank God that you're my man...

But in case I say no today,
Promise me, you will ask everyday
Till my answer becomes nothing less
Than yes.
