Just Love Me
When I had a bad day and all I want to do is rush home to hold you,
Why won't you just love me?
When you knock me down for my imperfections it reminds me you have no clue.
That who I strive to be and the woman I am today is for you.
Why won't you just love me?
The emotional treadmill that I climb everyday has taken me hostage and i'm through,
Through with all the unloving you do.
Why won't you just love me?
The time has come for me to make a choice to stay or go,
I will no longer beg and mumble the words I have said before.
Your opportunity has passed, you will no longer be harassed,
To just love me.
