Just Wanted to be

Just wanted to be a breeze and nothing more
Flowing around the garden and be with flowers
With the flapping and flittering butterflies
But caught among the tall and wild trees
Knows not the way and escape route

Just wanted to be a breeze and nothing more
Flowing around the hills and valleys
Playing with bright stones and colored pebbles
But caught among boulders big and dense
Tossed and bounced up and high
Knows not how to be free and flee

Just wanted to be a breeze and nothing more
To rise up the waves and curl with the curves
And crash on the shore to spray the froth and foam
But caught in the twirl and twist of the tide
Knows not to free from the crush and crumble

Just wanted to be a breeze and nothing more
The fear of Fire forewarned the heat and burns
The Force was too fierce, enticing and enthralling
Caught in the swirling raging fire, smelting the Soul
Lost Self, lost the desire to be free, rest in embers, cinders.
