Keep Dreaming

“Dreams are necessary to Life.” ~ Anaïs Nin
In my dreams,
I raise my voice higher
Like a Southern preacher
Resting from a bright Sunday morning
Yelling at the empty pews
During the weekdays
I’m too busy for God today
The People say
When I worship twenty-four/seven
Following a star
Only I can see
Behind the roughness
Inside Life’s storms
Shadows of clouds
Streaming along
As if a waterfall
Fell down the page
