Keep Me Close

This distance I enjoy. Between us there are Rivers, I dare not cross. Even though
There are bidges you have built, I prefer to sit By the bank and bask in the warmth of my
Certainty.

There are flowers here, you see, yellow Buttercups and white lilies dancing elegantly In the sun.

And if I chose to close my eyes, why then that Gentle breeze which rustles through behind,
Will gadly rush forth and soothe me.

All the while you'll wait, hands
Outstretched, thinking that I'll join you.
