Keepin’ It Real

A lesson to these youngsters on
keepin' it real.
You have to keep quiet and for real
listen, and take notes that's the deal.
To keep it real in life you have to
keep it straight.
If you have something to say just come out
and say it.
Don't beat around the bush, we old school
don't play no games.
We've earned our respect a long, long time
ago.
But you youngsters expect us to just hand it
over to you, we don't think so.
We will keep it as real as you do
with us.
If you don't like how we do
things.
We might be old school, but the streets
are still our boxing rings.
No holds bar, are the rules til this
day.
We all live by the rules of the
games that we play.
