Keyboard Keys

The smell of coffee fills the air,
Hustle and bustle fill my ear.
A business man sits in a chair,
A child laughs in the rear.
And the sound of keyboard keys dancing.
A dazzling spectacle unfolds before me.
Children playing, while moms give chase.
Business men sit and drink coffee,
Youthful workers trying to keep pace.
And the sound of keyboard keys dancing.
Many feelings come to me,
The warmth of the morning sun.
The happiness of good mornings said with glee,
The invigorating taste of a warm bun.
And the sound of keyboard keys dancing.
It then occurs to me in an instant,
Will these merry people notice?
Or be like memories of an infant.
And slip away with little importance,
With the sound of keyboard keys dancing.
