As you thought the wind was a bad thing
she proved you wrong,
Because her hurricane blows you over
like the most beautiful song.

As you thought water could only drown you
she made you think,
How the most beautiful sight you've seen
was her crashing into your beach.

As you thought fire was of the devil
she made you understand,
You must be burned alive sometimes
in order to love again.

As you thought the earth was too scary
to step outside to see,
She made you see that you can blossom
even as a buried seed.

As you thought that metal was destructive
to everything in sight,
She's been chiseled to perfection
and glimmers in the light.

And when your sun suddenly sets
and your moon won't rise,
Her eyes are there to remind you
that stars will always shine.
