King Tree

The kingdom was true
In Lords name, man was born
born of red blood and sapphire truth
intertwined in the realm of spirit
engaged in the light of Him
yet engrossed with a dark ivy

I sat under the cedar tree
it called my name
like it was part of me
it spoke of ancient tongues
and old earthy tales
tales of the old kingdoms come

I sang the song of the birds
thick upon the trees
like a white dust
singing the same song as me
old as history

we are his children
thank you very much

He guides us
He challenges us
we wage war
against the dark side of ourself
he watches
he hopes
that we will try hard enough
