You saw my shattered pieces
And you said you wanted to
Sculpt them together with gold
You hastily taped each piece
With red lines
Pieces touched in ways
I never thought imaginable
Then you grasped
Your meticulously calculated
Brand new creation
Between your hungry palms
And said it was never enough
Then smashed it
Into thousands of grains
Of stardust
