A man never stands taller than when he's on his knees
It's hard to be demanding and easy to say please
When you're on your knees it's hard to look down on anyone
We can now think of God and His only Son
Knees are good to sit grandchildren on and bounce them all around
Now as time takes its toll, they sometimes make a cracking sound
Knees are sometimes called prayer bones, but God only knows
It's better to stay on our knees, and not on our toes
