Know your Worth

Honey dipped, with bliss, these hips
Were not solely made for your consumption
Lips overflow with vibrant tones
My broad nose
Is unphased by your tools of
Mass corruption
My kinks stand with pride
Bold as ever, needless of an introduction
Built to function when adversity
Is at it's highest capacity
With all my audacity I know my worth
Because I'm shaped like Coca Cola
Pretty and I'm mocha
But beyond the physical
My mind is much colder
I know my worth
Forming in my chrysalis until I burst
Into a world that tells me my dark skin is a curse but
Without question my melanin's blessing breaking down
Walls of oppression
Turning everlasting strife into
long lasting lessons
Black is beautiful and bond to
Leave an impression
Without question God gave me a blessing
