Last Chance
I see them in the shadows,
so I know the time is near.
I expect at any moment,
I'll see loved ones I hold so dear.
they say this is the golden years,
but all I can do is wait,
as I see the time get close,
to all of mankind's fate.
you know it is forever,
soon no one has to die,
no more running after riches,
all! looking to the sky.
and then before you know it,
in the twinkling of an eye,
millions of unknown people vanished,
not one of them had died.
so now your here all by yourselves, counting down the time,
knowing that you wound up, on the other side.
so I know the time is near.
I expect at any moment,
I'll see loved ones I hold so dear.
they say this is the golden years,
but all I can do is wait,
as I see the time get close,
to all of mankind's fate.
you know it is forever,
soon no one has to die,
no more running after riches,
all! looking to the sky.
and then before you know it,
in the twinkling of an eye,
millions of unknown people vanished,
not one of them had died.
so now your here all by yourselves, counting down the time,
knowing that you wound up, on the other side.
