I can still remember things that make me smile,
Sometimes I have to sit and think, sometimes for a while.
But I remember my first puppy,
And when my grandparents were still here.
Of course sometimes with that smile will also come a tear.
I remember my first fish I caught, with only a stick and a string.
I was only four years old, it was the coolest thing.
I remember the first girl I kissed, I remember my first car.
And you know I remember the first wish I wished upon a star.
These moments I hold on to as if they were my last breath of air,
These are the precious moments of my life,
And I don't have many to spare.
