Le Mystere De La Lune
As I gazed upon the moon and stars
Hearing from the street the rush of cars
I contemplated the mystery of the moon
All the while I lightly hummed a tune,
It appeared to be suspended in the sky
I longed to understand it but could really only try
It seemed to dangle by a mere string
And as I called out to it, I heard only my voice ring.
Its white face beamed down on me,
It was the key to life's seeming mystery.
The mystery of the moon and the stars of the night
Caused my heart to jump, to flee, to then take flight.
As I speak to the moon it silently
And in all its glory it endlessly glistens.
I plan to give my heart away, to a new star every day
To mold it how it wishes as if my heart was merely made of clay.
