He prays to be the one she needs,
when gone, the one she'll miss;
And he will wait 'till his heart breaks,
in her heart, to exist.
Then finally on bended knee,

She watches him, he lifts his chin,
nervously humble in this,
praying her love comes to breath air to his lungs;
that she'll love who he honestly is.
