Leaves

The air was light
It was evening in part
Only in the big sky
Will this Fall feel
This clean face is motion with grace

The flush of light in the warm blue hue
The billions of specks radiate spectrum of light

The Bison Fan Club long since gone
The grid of sidewalks
The stone wall

The leaves in height
The only time that I remember
The only time that time forgot

She at last found new splendor
Spreading her grace so full no embers

And all at once I found lost control
I was falling as in a dream
There was a soft landing for there were leaves

It was a playful love that tripped me up
That women's arms took me in
Her beautiful nature swallowed me whole
