Waving, swaying, stirring in the wind
Dancing like notes on a staff
Prancing lifelessly in the breeze
Crumble under careless hands
Abandoned the tree that held you
Swivel from the danger of being crushed
Reborn when spring comes
Holding dew in your leafy hands
Running amuck in the fall winds
Disintegrate under the cold, white, layers
Just to add to the soil to feed other leaves
