Leaving the Party

The stars are out now
I’m drained from the crowd
I wish I wasn’t
but soon enough it all became too loud
constricting, constraining...
too much!
it wraps it holds it intertwines my insides
trapped in a feeling with only one escape
and refuses to shake away
by myself the feeling finally fades
alone wrapped in the cloudscape
