Legend Lady

I follow the Maiden she stops to take one
last look over the bridge in the tides the
ocean once split and the servant did rise
on the other side don’t take to that look
in his eyes the ship retrieves its been
washed aside that woman sails under
darkened blackened sky’s Ill be a waiting
your drift live long an on Legend Lady
protecting your kind
In the mist from the early morning sun
rise she cries she hides in the shadows
then runs an stops and looks far behind
you can’t follow elements of her kind
I pursue the Goddess she makes one
slight move of her hand now in the winds
of the sky she grows old yet not old
enough to die will her wings allow her to
fly live long an on Legend Lady protecting
your kind She put clouds around the
Earth with a stroke of her other hand
disappeared in one look of a glance
Still protecting your kine
