Let Her In

Strings control the fool
Who sees not past his own
Consumed by himself
He fears the unknown
Refuses to look past
The blanket which he's wrapped
Free from any feeling
His heart always trapped
If love is his will
Than open he must
Unlock that chain
And let out his trust
Close the book on hurt
And start a new novel
When the day comes
Her heart may follow.
