Let Me Go

When the fire of your passion burns out,
when my body isn't your guitar,
when my fountains don't produce you pleasure,
Let me go.

When I kiss you and your body doesn't shiver,
when I am not your medicine for your wounds,
when I don't smell your scent on my sheets,
Let me go.

When our home is not your refuge,
when my words don't stimulate your thoughts,
when my presence is the cause of your misfortunes,
Let me go.

When I am not the reason for your living,
when I am not the inspiration for your songs,
when I am not your light nor your candle,
Let me go.

When our lives become routine,
when your illusions die,
when I am not the reason for your dreams,
Let me go.
