Let Me Live My Fantasy

Hidden in my own fantasy,
turning aside from the past behind me.
No longer bound by the wounds that follow-
that haunt me in ways where I am chained.

Gaze upon my eyes and say I'll be alright
because I'm slowly falling away,
fading from the moonlight;
to restored my world as I tread on.

It's not fiction, it's not reality.
I'm not lost, I am not alone.
I have a world inside of me
that you have yet to see.
Until then I'll continue in this fantasy

Lead me astray as you lead yourself
because of the fear that lurks in your heart
I will find my way back, I always do.
Following me there is not a choice for you.

There are world's of fantasies to discover-
you being one of them -
some broken, some restored
and some that are ignored.

However, I'll live against this world
before it inures me and bounds me.
I'll live this world in my own way
and that will be my delightful fantasy.
