Let Them Remember

Tired of everything, but awakened with empathy.
Lost an inner part of me, feeling kind of empty.
Can anyone hear me?
Life has hit you so hard; Scared you won't make it far.
Scared to a point where you can go on,
pretending to be strong, for whatever went wrong.
Travel the miles, manage to smile, but just for awhile.

Have faith in yourself, forget the words of everyone else.
Those just troubled with doubt, are filled with envy.
Show them how it's done.
Show them it's not all fun and games,
but a sudden fame that follows your name.
After all that hard work you've done,
when they thought you were lame.
But clearly that's not the case.
Let them walk in shame.
Let them remember who you are,
wishing they had went that far.
