Let us be equal

I've searched my soul
For any sign of light
I've searched my mind
For any sign of peace
I've searched the world
For just the chance to be equal
The chance to live in peace
The chance to be me

We put so many restrictions on ourselves
Stereotypes that will forever last
Unless you change
The way you think, see, and love

You bind people to certain thoughts
Like all our ancestors have for centuries
Always having a one track mind
Not up for learning
Anything that could change the times

We need to stop
Making accusations
Stop stereotyping women and men alike
Let people live how they'd like, women being equal
And the way our creator meant for us to live
