Letter to My Anxiety

Dear anxiety

Let me breathe.

Let me feel the air go to my lungs,

Instead of choking me.

Let me release my demons out of their cage.

You're keeping them, hostage, too.

Instead of making me forgive, try letting me forget.

That's sometimes all I ask.

That's all I really want.
