Letting Go

The day you were born
The process began
Of letting you go
I don't know if I can

Once tiny and frail
Now big and strong
Scared and unsure
Now singing your song

The love of a mother
So deep and so wide
My heart is so full
It's bursting inside

The season's of life
Have changed like a leaf
Some dark and some bright
But all much too brief

I sit back in awe
At whom you've become
The road once so long
Now almost done

I'll loosen my grasp
So that you may fly
Spread your wings Love
Soar and fly high.
