From seed it grows so natural.
To stand up tall and make things small.
Strong and warm to make a home.
Smart and wise to bend.
From time to time you've grown to love,
In the loving arms above.
Rain and hail, winter come,
Save these creatures from dying young.
It spreads its seed throughout the land,
To teach the world of its plan.
A simple life is not so bad.
A simple tree is what I am.
