Life Isn’t Life

Life isn't built for you or me,
Life isn't built for the tree that feeds our needs
Life isn't built for us, yet we continue to seek
We plant the seed, the tree plants us
We create life, it becomes our needs and wants
Life is built upon our image
Images of each and every different perspective
It becomes who we are
Yet how is life built for us
We walk in the path of a stranger
The stranger that was the seed
The stranger that we planted
A stranger we call enemy
We fight with the tree that helps us breathe
We give tragedy to others that brings peace
