Life of Mime

Shoved into a tiny box
Can't escape now
Like a mime no one can see the walls
But I'm about to break down
Banging & thrashing, screaming & crying
But no one can see me drown
I need to break out

Trapped inside myself
Body like a robot
Hard as stone and icy cold
Something pretty to be bought
Mind and soul encased within
Until they wilt, then die and rot
While the outside seems pristine

You can look but you can't touch
I'm sorry I can't let you in
You wouldn't want to
Get inside with all this hate and sin
I could try to explain, but
I wouldn't know where to begin
So let's not start
