Lifeless Love Of Life

By

Tense I am in the Wilderness
Of the rest that I deserve
Haunted by the feelings
Which I wanted to preserve
Death will come one day
I don't need to fear
The tree will still be standing
Once Autumn has cleared
The tension will fall
Like the leaves from the tree
I have nothing to fear
Because my life will be
Like the leaves in Spring
Grow a new life of hope
It is the beginning of an end
Like suspended from a rope
The purpose is not to distress
What peacefully lays under the tree
There is ample space
Around to use which remains free.
