Life’s Gamble

Sometimes we must take our chances,
life is full of short romances,
never let go of that feeling,
there's a floor, but there's no ceiling.

Tell the truth to those who care,
for spreading love is much too rare,
you can't take back the things you say,
but don't hold back, you'll be ok.

And if you let your feelings hide,
then you will lose more than your pride,
the people that you love the most,
through white lies, you can't keep close.

Sometimes things cannot be fixed,
some relationships get mixed,
this is not the time to amble,
risk it now, love is a gamble.
