Life’s Inexistence Put Into Word

Times change, Years go by;
Seconds past,
and no one wonders why;
Why Clouds drift,
Why the Sun shines;
Why hurricanes destroyed it all. Everything you know,
the weather and daily routines.
Really makes me think
what if life was rearranged.
Yet still no one wonders why.
If we didn't do the regular,
if we went on a different path. Disobeyed all the rules we know.
And didn't regret the aftermath.
Never locked our front doors.
Left our cars all unlocked.
As well as leaving our kids unsupervised.
And ran red lights in front of the cops.
If we listen to advice or learn from our mistakes.
There would be no distinct reason for our lifestyle to change.
