Life’s Journey

We are all on a path.
Some are made of dirt,
Some are paved in gold.
Some will be easy,
Some will be bold.
But one thing is certainly uncertain,
Who knows what the future will hold.
The universe provides the necessary clues,
Recognizing and understanding the signs is up to you.
Practice makes perfect and soon you will learn,
A new page in your life you will be able to turn.
Don't be afraid of the fear of unknown,
Relish in the power and strength that you've grown.
Say what you do and do what you say,
And adapt a little bit more each and every day.

This Poems Story

I'm a thirty-one-year-old freelance photographer and videographer in Eureka, CA. I'm an avid hiker and camper. My inspiration for this poem was a reconnection with a lost love and a long, lonely drive from San Francisco to Eureka. The message is: don't worry about things working out, for they always will. And if you learn to see the signs provided, you will always know where you are going, where you've been, and where you stand in the world. Be true, be kind, be positive.
